1st Sunday of the Month: Social Sunday

3rd Sunday of the Month: Workshop Day

We start at 1pm with a Social Hour (unless adjusted to accommodate for a longer workshop).

At 2pm, we have a quick business meeting followed by a workshop (per schedule).

5th Sundays of the Month: If they happen, there will be no formal meeting.

Dates to note for the January-December Calendar Year

  • January – 1st Sunday – Yearly Planning – setting workshops, discussing field trips, discussing Kentuck dates, planning fiber challenges, and voting on dues. 
  • April – date tbd in January – Anniversary/WAFG Birthday Party Pot Luck 
  • June – date tba – World Wide Knit In Public Day – we usually have a picnic or meet up in a new space to craft, laugh, and share our arts!
  • September – date tbd in January – Kentuck Prep Day – mandatory for all members who want to sell items. 
  • October – dates tba – Kentuck Festival of the Arts
  • October/November – the first two meetings following Kentuck are marketed as “Kentuck Kit Days” so folks who purchased kits from us at Kentuck can learn how to use them with our guidance. 
  • December – 1st Sunday – Holiday Party Pot Luck

From Birmingham: Follow I-20 W/I-59 S to AL-69 N Tuscaloosa. Take exit 71B to merge onto AL-69 N/ I-359 N toward Tuscaloosa. Follow AL-69 and Lurleen B Wallace Blvd to 7th st.

Parking lot access off 8th St behind Jimmy Johns/Dunkin’. Find the backdoor entrance facing the parking lot and there we are.
